Summer Fun!
This little girl LOVES to be outside and the water is just a bonus!
Baby Jack at 1 & 2 Months
My little man is soooo sweet and laid back. I really couldn't have asked for an easier baby. He sleeps well in his bed at night, but for some reason there is NO getting him to nap in there during the day. Lately he has been going to bed around 9 and will sleep until about 3:00 or 4:00 a.m. then I feed him and he goes back down without a fuss until around 6 or 7. He is amazing. He's also my little snuggle bug and loves to be held. The past week he has started smiling anytime you look at him and this morning he was laughing at his sister. Chunky monkey is growing at warp speed and is alreay in 3-6 month outfits that are becoming snug. I LOVE IT! I have a FAT baby with fat rolls and everything. I put a 9 month onesie on him today to see how it fit and it does. Kate is the best big sister. She loves her "baby boy boy boy" and gets SUPER excited anytime she see's his "baby toesies". She is a huge help too, always finding a binky, blanket, burp cloth, or anything else we may need. I have even seen her try to soothe him whenever he is fussy, she tells him it will be ok and tries to put his binky in his mouth. She also likes to help fed and burp him, although her "help" isn't always help, I am incredibly happy that she loves him. She is always showering him with hugs and kisses and every night before she goes to bed she insists on giving him a hug and kiss. Anytime we go somewhere and Jack isn't with us she asks, "Where is my baby brudder"?

Time flies...
Jack is already TWO months old! Unbelievable. We have been pretty busy since Jack made is debut. I had my first Mother's Day and Jason had his first Father's Day with our son. Daddy was home on paternity leave for the first six weeks. Nana stayed with us until I recouped. Then Daddy went back to work. Kelsie and Madison came to visit for a few days and the Hartung's stopped by for an overnight stay on their way home from vacation. We've gone swimming a few times (Kate loves the water!) and Nonnie & Grandpa have taken her to the water park. Kate has been quite the little traveller since Jack has been born. She went to Fort Worth with her Nonnie and Grandpa for his family reunion and stayed in a hotel, then went to Austin with Oma to spend the night with her cousins and watch Brady's soccer game, then she went to Tyler with Nana for Hannah's 3rd birthday party....get that girl a passport :-) Then she started Summer MDO. Whew, busy busy. Things seem to be settling down now and we are slowly getting into a routine. Now....if I can just get Jack to sleep all night!

Summer MDO
Kate woke up at 5:00 a.m. talking about going to preschool today, needless to say she was excited. Now that she will be going 3 days a week I should have more time to post (I hope). My children are adorable and I want to remember all the funny things that happen, Kate has developed quite the personality and Jack is the sweetest baby a person could ask for, so I hope I can start blogging more.
Kate's 1st Day of MDO...she couldn't get there fast enough, I'm pretty sure she will love it and all of her new friends!
She wanted to hold her lunch box during the car ride :-)
So cute with her little backpack and lunch box, she was READY!

Our newest addition!
God blessed us with a healthy, full term, perfectly created little boy. Jack Charles was born on April 22 at 8:38 a.m. weighing 7 lbs 5 oz and 20 1/2 inches long.
